How our E2EE works

When you upload a photo to Tier 5 (The Vault), it is encrypted before it leaves your browser or phone using an AES-256-GCM key derived from your Vault Master Password. The fwber servers only store the encrypted ciphertext. We cannot see your photos, and we cannot hand them over to third parties because we do not have the decryption key.
